An SME journey

SHERPA is designed for SME’s, businesses between £250k – £2m turnover, solo entrepreneurs, owner managed or small board of Directors. Not exclusively of course, but it is suited to organisations that don’t already have Sales, Marketing or HR departments in place or large boards to unify.

You may even be the lead of a small team or specialist department within a larger firm, responsible for fee earning and performance. We’ve all experienced the pressure of being the leader, let’s bring the team and colleagues along in one shared vision and purpose.

My story – Sarah

Looking back it occurs to me that over the past 32 years, I have worked with over 1,000 clients, leading projects which include new business, brand, product and service launches, ad and digital campaigns and growth strategies and planning across wide varying sectors in both the B2B and B2C arena.

I started my first business in 1991, aged 24 – yes I’ve just given my age away! That business was Ninety Degrees, a creative agency, founded in Blackburn and ultimately sited in King Street, Manchester. We specialised in property marketing and enjoyed the heady days of the 2000’s with loft apartments springing up all over the city, and office development rental income equaling Manhattan.
In 2005, I sold Ninety Degrees, feeling my time and heart were torn between business and bringing up my young daughter. I remember a client asking me why we were selling at our height? A dilemma many women in business face, being torn between the two and feeling you are doing neither justice.
Marketing consultancy followed, an MA in Fine Art, and the plan to create a new business nearer home. In 2012, Latitude was formed with Andy Schofield and later Sean Pickles, my second SME business and in 2013, the third, Longitude Art Gallery. 10 years on and Latitude is a strong entity with an incredible team,  a consistent order book and burgeoning work to warrant taking on new staff. 
I am fortunate to love what I do, have the greatest privilege in meeting new people and longstanding clients who have become friends, and working within one of the most important sectors within the UK economy.

My story – Andy

Since 2018, I’ve used a form of SHERPA to help 100s of businesses transform their culture and achieve growth they previously thought impossible.

After a successful corporate career, where I took a business from £12 million to £25 million in just three years, I decided to help other organisations realise their own potential. Combining 20+ years of experience — including the valuable lessons I learned from mistakes I made, as well as big wins I created a winning formula to help businesses go from stuck to unstoppable.

I’m not a traditional consultant. I’m not interested in telling you what to do. Think of me more like a Sherpa Guide, helping you summit the mountain of your own collective potential.

I’ve worked with over 400 businesses in the last 5 years, and everyone of them wanted the same things. More customers, more revenue, more profits.

These business leaders also wanted to create a better culture, and lead a highly motivated team all delivering amazing results and creating the life they have always wanted, for everyone.
